I was raised in the Mojave Desert half way between Los Angeles and Las Vegas in a town where "culture" consisted of roadside attractions. I learned early on that I would need to work harder than most to achieve my creative goals.

I thought pursuing a physics/philosophy double-major at UC Irvine would work for me - until I went to Baja and realized I liked working on desert race cars more than I enjoyed studying for midterms. I picked up a video camera to film the races, and the rest is history.

While the path I've taken to reach this point might seem odd, it makes perfect sense to me.
