 Baja Social Club is the authentic human story of a band of pioneering and passionate risk-takers that four decades ago created the original extreme sport while unveiling a very special land for the rest of the world to enjoy.  They are the last of their breed, but still young at heart.

Today's General Tire NORRA Mexican 1000 vintage off-road rally serves a backdrop for the inspirational tale of how these men come together, perhaps for the last time, to rediscover themselves on a 1,200-mile journey to their collective soul. This primitive, hostile and beautiful strip of dreams that was once their most daunting adversary has now become their spiritual home. The pioneers are joined by a group of youthful new adventurers seeking to follow their footprints including racers Jim Riley, Rick Johnson and Boyd Jaynes.

I provided scenic footage and timelapse from my personal archives for this film, as well as working as the DP for several of the featured interviews.

As seen on MTVs Rob Dyrdeks Fantasy Factory. The Gymkhana 2.1 video features all the near run-overs, drifting, racing and shenanigans that occur when two unique individuals like Dyrdek and Block hit the tarmac in polar-opposite-sized whips.

In September of 2012, I was hired to shoot astro timelapse in Great Basin National Park in northern Nevada, to showcase the fantastic stargazing opportunities afforded there thanks to the Park's lack of light pollution. Great Basin NP is remote to say the least, and I found what was essentially an 8 day camping trip amongst the Bristlecone Pines, the oldest living things on Earth, to be a meditative and spiritual experience.
